Experience
While I was in college, I worked as a student and private tutor. This is how I received my Level II Tutor certification. I love tutoring because I love helping students understand the material, not just teach the material. As a tutor, it is not my job to teach, but rather to help the student learn and understand the material. As a graduate in Chemistry, I have taken analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and general chemistry. I was also required to take physics I and II and biology I. I also took genetics and cell and molecular biology. I have taken up to Calculus 3 in math. I also understand organization and planning. While I was in college, I worked full time as an assistant store manager, while also working part time as a private tutor. In order to ensure that my work was completed on time, I had to learn great organization and planning skills. Hobbies
Outside of my love for science and math, I also love dogs. As a dog owner myself, I love the unconditional love and devotion that a dog provide. It makes me want to do anything to keep my dog extremely happy. My fiance and I currently own a miniature Australian shepherd. Because of his energy level, we have enrolled him in agility classes that allow for him to focus in high energy. I also love to read. I can admit to reading some science articles in my spare time, but for the most part, I am a romance junkie. I bought a Kindle for myself a couple of years ago, and it has been one of the best purchases of my life. I love the fact that I am able to carry over a thousand books with me. If I finish a book while I am work, I have the ability to start another one.
